What is Crack Leveling (Mastic)?

Mastic

Mastic is designed for large cracks and distressed surface areas too small for re-paving. Ideally used to fill distresses. It is a versatile hot-applied, pourable, self-adhesive ridged asphalt binder containing selected aggregate to ensure good load bearing and skid resistant characteristics. Mastic One is compounded with standard weight aggregate. It is flexible and can withstand weather, traffic, and thermal movement. Mastic is waterproof and provides an air-tight seal

Where can I use Mastic?

Route & Seal

Route & Seal

Route and seal uses a large industrial pavement routing machine to grind a channel through the center of the crack where the sealant is to be applied. Prior to doing so, field workers must first thoroughly clear out all debris, leaves, sticks and other obstructive objects from the surrounding area that might interfere with the sealing process or inadvertently contaminate the routed channel. It might seem counterproductive to grind a deep channel into a crack pavement area, but this practice is actually highly practical. It creates more room for a larger amount of sealant to be placed into the crack, strengthening the structural foundation of ground beneath and preventing internal cracking or erosion.

What is Biorestor ®

Biorestor ® Asphalt Rejuvenator

At only a fraction of the cost of paving, BIORESTOR® preserves and protects asphalt pavements ensuring the longevity and quality of your paved investment. Time and testing have shown that using a rejuvenator such as BIORESTOR®, BEFORE asphalt breaks down, provides communities the opportunity to use their road monies more efficiently and expand their annual pavement preservation goals. It is cheaper and easier to take care of a good road than to save a bad one.
